Using a Vision Board Is a Powerful Manifesting Technique
We’ve all heard the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
But are we putting it to work in our manifesting?
This saying is accurate because a single picture can inspire emotions and depict more detail than words alone. It has a more immediate and lasting impact on the brain. You can create a powerful compilation of images that will help you with your manifesting and tap into the brain’s ability to process imagery. [+]

Whether you want to manifest your next big adventure, a new home, or more money, a vision board can help because it makes your dreams feel more tangible.
What is a vision board?
A vision board is a collection of images that remind you what you want to manifest.
Your vision board can be for any goal or series of goals that you like. You may wish to manifest a great relationship, good health, or the career you have always dreamed of. Just remember, the brain loves pictures, and 90 percent of all data transmitted to the brain is from visual stimulation. [+]
So, when manifesting, using a vision board is an obvious (and excellent) choice.
How does a vision board help with manifesting?
It all starts with your intention, and a vision board sends a message to your brain about what you want to manifest.
Putting the vision board in a location, you see daily acts as a reminder and clarifies the mindset you need.
For example, let’s say that you want to manifest a promotion at work. Before you head out the door, you look at the picture of a successful person you admire on your vision board.
Think of this moment as tuning the radio to the station (aka. frequency) you want to hear.
Your brain is now alert and tuned in. It will subconsciously make you look at things that are at this particular frequency.
By being tuned to the frequency of that which you desire, you become curious and open to seeing opportunities. Now, as you walk down the street or enter your office building, you look for successful people. You start wondering what behaviours made them successful.
You may even initiate a conversation with someone, leading to greater learning and understanding.
By “tuning your radio station,” you suddenly see, feel, and hear things differently. You may be surprised at how often you experience coincidences or opportunities now that you’re operating at this new frequency.
How do you become specific with a vision board?
Like any goal, the more specific, the more likely you will attract what you want.
However, if you wait to find the perfect specific picture, you may put off getting started on your vision board. Remember, it is most important to get started with your vision. You can alter the pictures and get more specific as you understand your intention.

What is the law of attraction? Does it relate to vision boards?
The law of attraction says that you attract what you think about.
Remember, you are constantly manifesting and attracting your experiences whether you are conscious of it or not. Using a vision board sends a clear image to your brain of what you want to attract into your life.
Where should I place my vision board for maximum effectiveness?
You must place your vision board in a place you see daily for maximum effectiveness.
It isn’t enough to create a vision board and leave it at the bottom of a closet to collect dust. Then, your vision and goals are also collecting dust. Fortunately, if you don’t have the space to hang your vision board, there are online resources where you can create a digital vision board for free. You can then keep your vision board as your phone or desktop wallpaper.

How can I use my vision board in daily manifestation practices?
It’s smart to include your vision board in your daily routine.
If you meditate daily, look at your vision board and allow the images to inspire you when you sit in silence. In addition, looking at the pictures before you say your positive affirmations and right before bed helps reinforce the message of what you want to achieve.
Final Thoughts
Remember, a vision board is only as good as the actions you take.
So don’t wait until you have the perfect vision board; just get started and add to it as you go along. It’s better to take “flawed” action than to do nothing at all.
Creating a vision board can be a fun activity that you can complete in as little as an hour. If you’ve never experimented with a vision board, now is a great time to start! See how powerful your mind can be when it has a strong visual that it can connect to when manifesting.
