How can I be patient while manifesting?

You can be patient while manifesting by reminding yourself that it’s normal to be impatient, and it will be worth it. Focus on your progress and get into the feeling of living your envisioned life.

What does it mean to manifest something?

Manifesting is a recent hot topic.

But it has been traced back to ancient spiritual teachings about the importance of your mind and body working in connection with the universe. 

Manifesting is based on energy.

You can use the power of your mind to bring something tangible into your life. It is essential to acknowledge that manifesting is not some magic trick where you can instantly change your life by sitting on your couch thinking about what you want. 

You must take aligned action and work with the universe to create your desired life.

You may wonder, “How is this different from just doing what I normally do?” The difference is you are aware of your actions and have an intention you are consciously working towards. Use your mind and energy and check in with yourself rather than going through the motions on autopilot.

Manifesting changes how you view yourself and provides the courage and insight to take positive, aligned action.

You become aware of your energy and how it constantly sends messages to the universe. By manifesting, you choose to actively participate in creating your life story. The universe works in energy, so you can attract what you want to manifest by vibrating at a high energy level. 

It isn’t about control but about trusting and surrendering to the universe

This may seem contradictory because you must take action but not control it. 

Huh? You are intentional about what you want, get into the feeling, and trust that the universe works for you. Allow the experiences to happen and monitor your energy. When it is low, you feel lack; therefore, the universe will respond with more lack. 

So your job is to get out of this feeling and move towards things that light you up.

I spoke to my son this morning about the importance of patience when learning anything. He was saying he loves skiing because he is good at it. I had to remind him he hadn’t mastered skiing overnight and needed patience.

He had to find the motivation for the early morning lessons, get all the uncomfortable clothing on, and stay out even when it was freezing cold.

I use this story as an example because when manifesting, much like anything in life, it takes commitment, consistency, and patience to see results. If you quit because it is too hard, you miss out on the opportunity to manifest what you desire. You miss out on creating abundance and achieving your goals. 

Remember, you create your life with the universe.

We’ve all been there, eagerly awaiting our manifestations like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.

But when impatience creeps in, here’s your four-step guide to keep that manifestation train chugging along. The most important thing we all want is to be seen and heard for who we are.  

What if you could do this for yourself and trust the universe is working for you?  

When you start to feel impatient, it is critical to drop judgment and acknowledge your feelings to move from low energy to high energy.

Follow these four steps below:

Step 1: Acknowledge your impatience

Admit that being patient can be tough in our fast-paced world.

Find a quiet spot and tell yourself, “I want to acknowledge that being patient can be challenging. I want to have [insert what you want to manifest] now. Why does it have to take so long? I don’t feel like I am moving forward, and nothing is working. I feel anxious and impatient and want to acknowledge this now.”

Step 2: Comfort yourself and be your own best friend

Imagine what you’d say to a friend or a child feeling the same way.

Encourage yourself with, “It is okay that you feel anxious and impatient, and you aren’t alone. It may be challenging to create what you want, but it will be worth it. Remember, the universe is working with you in partnership to create the life you want.”

Step 3: Reflect on your progress

Consider the progress you’ve already made.

Even small shifts in your mindset count. Review your goals and negative beliefs; turning them into positives is progress. Each change is a step forward; this exercise is your accountability partner.

Step 4: Remind yourself it’s worth it and be grateful

After recognizing your progress, affirm that your patience will pay off.

Use positive affirmations like “The universe is working with me,” and express gratitude for what you already have. This positivity attracts more abundance.

This is just an example—use your own words to comfort your subconscious mind and reduce your anxiety and impatience more quickly. 

Remember, impatience is normal, but with these steps, you’ve got the tools to manifest your desires.

Once your system is calm, break your original manifestation intention into smaller, more achievable goals that you can work on now. 

This keeps your motivation high as you witness tangible results.

Always immerse yourself in the feeling of how your aspirations can benefit both you and others.

Dedicate time in the morning and before bedtime to visualize your desired manifestation. 

During the day, carry on with your regular routine to maintain equilibrium. Remember, manifesting goes beyond mere visualization; it involves taking action. Think of this action as being awake during the day, staying aware of your actions and reactions. Many people go through life in a daze during the day and must be mindful of how their perceptions affect their lives.

The key is that formal manifesting practice may only be necessary in the morning or evening.

You’ll see faster results by practicing consciousness and remaining “awake” throughout the day. 

Mornings set your intention and tone, while evenings serve as a reflection on your day. Don’t fret about perfection; the aim is increased awareness since you constantly transmit energy to the universe like you’re giving it directions. The more information aligns with your destination, the more accurately and swiftly you’ll reach your goal.
